Once again we remind our readers this is a "tentative" preaching plan. Thus, sermon titles and Scripture passages are subject to change as the Lord leads. As we continue our study through the Book of Genesis, let this preaching plan be a guide for personal, deeper study into God's Word. The "Book of Beginnings" is not only an important book theologically (i.e. what does the text mean and how do I apply it?); it is also an important book ecclesiologically (i.e. what is the significance of Genesis for the Church?). It is our hope that through this study both reader and hearer will come to understand the sensus plenior (fullest sense) of the Book of Genesis and come to "walk with God" as Enoch did (Gen 5:24).
